Impact Day September 2007

7 Students attended a 4 hour seminar in Redhill, Surrey on the 15th September.
Master Nardizzi took a 1 hour session on patterns which was an excellent opportunity for
Pure TKD students to learn from such a technical Master.
Mr Philip Lear, 2 times World Gold medallist took an hour session on sparring techniques, he brought along Felix Kelly, European Gold medalist. Between them , they inspired our students to a new level.
Pure TKD instructor, Mr M Hewlett taught two seprate sessions to Black belts and colour belts on "Improving athletic performance". For many attending, this was a wake up call on how to imrpove their over all ability.

December 2006

3 students from Pure TKD took part in their first competition, the ITF English championships. This was to be their first ever taste of competing.
To gain any medal in your first comp is good but they really did themselves proud with two golds for Ms. Knight (and a 2nd place in patterns) and a Silver in Sparring and Bronze in patterns for Mr. Gammon.
Also taking part was Mr Scoins, who , although he beat everyone in destruction missed out on a Gold on a technicality!
Well done all 3 for a great result.

Tina Knight - Gold Sparring, Gold Destruction. John Gammon - Silver sparring, Bronze Patterns.
